Male Bluebird
Item DSC-1204- Male Eastern Bluebirds are vivid, deep blue above and rusty or brick-red on the throat and breast. Blue in birds always depends on the light, and males often look plain gray-brown from a distance. Females are grayish above with bluish wings and tail, and a subdued orange-brown breast.
Nikon D800 camera with Nikon 600mm lens. ISO 3200, f6.3, @1/1000 second. I also used a Nikon 1.4 tele-converter in conjunction with the 600mm lens. A tripod was used to capture this image. This image was captured at my residence in western Rowan County.
